Satisfied in the Morning

There is no hour like the early morning hour to meet with God. Oftentimes we put off meeting with God until later in the day, but then our to-do list takes over and all day long we are chasing that quiet moment that does not exist. God does not want us chasing temporary things that do not satisfy us. Every morning he wants to satisfy us with his love.
The Bible does not command us to meet with God in the morning, but Jesus did! Many of the Old Testament men did too, like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Samuel, David and many of the kings. We know that something powerful happens in the morning when men and women of God rise early in the morning and meet with him. Because it is in the morning that he satisfies us again with his love and gives us glad hearts that are strong for whatever the day may bring
