Trusting God with All Your Heart

God tells us to trust in him with all of our heart. Not part of our heart. Not even half of our heart. This means we are to have full confidence in him and rely on him and his wisdom rather than trusting in ourselves and our own knowledge. He says that when we follow his ways, he will guide us. He will give us the wisdom we need to direct our paths.
In Bible times, horses and chariots struck fear in the hearts of the military men. They symbolized strength. But David said, he would not trust in his horses and chariots because they could not compare with the strength of the Lord our God. I don’t know what troubles you are facing today but I pray that this would be said of us—that in the midst of our difficult times, we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
